Then it hit me
I was just sitting here thinking of nothing in particular (the best way to think), and the importance of keeping a journal came to me. So, here's what I've done today:
- Carved a pumpkin (pictures to follow)
- Went to church
- We cooked a frozen lasagna (Michelle still doesnt' like it)
- I played some farmville, though I hope this isn't a recurring theme for my journal entries
- I realized the practical importance of keeping a journal
I always though a journal was something for my grandkids to pick up and get a little amusement out of. But I've been looking for a way to increase my own productivity, and I see how a journal could do that. We do better when we report our progress. Hopefully my grandkids will get a kick out of this someday, but all of a sudden it's important for me too. We'll see if it seems like such a priority when Monday rolls around, though I imagine it will. What a great way to collect my thoughts and move toward my goals. Here's to writing it down!
